IEROPOLI, Rocco—

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Rocco (age 56) was the beloved husband of Carmela (nee Renda) Ieropoli for 29 years. He was the dear and loving father of Gabriella (Alessandro Gazziro), Stephanie (Cole Fernie), Andrea and Julia. Rocco is survived by his dear sister Carm Reale (late Alfredo) and his nephew Vince and nieces Pina and Maria Teresa, all of Cimina, Italy. He was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Giuseppa (nee Polifroni) Ieropoli. Rocco was a family man, who spent countless hours telling stories to his daughters that had been passed down for generations about life in Italy. Most of all, Rocco enjoyed spending time with his family, summers in Southampton and its sandy beaches. Rocco also enjoyed singing, tending to his plants in the garden with love and attention and the fall harvest.

Special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at Princess Margaret and Grand River Hospitals and to the medical staff at CCAC (Guelph), especially Drs. Dhani, Bahl and Karen Kennedy along with Nurse Practitioner Jessica Caceres and Nurse Bonita.
